Balsam Peru increases blood flow to a wound area, and also helps fight bacteria.
Castor oil prevents skin cells from breaking down, which aids in wound healing.
Trypsin helps shed damaged skin cells.
The combination of balsam Peru, castor oil, and trypsin topical (for the skin) is used to
treat bed sores and other skin ulcers. This medication can help promote healing and relieve pain
caused by these conditions.

You should not use this medication if you are allergic to balsam Peru, castor oil, and
trypsin.

It is not known whether balsam Peru, castor oil, and trypsin passes into breast milk or
if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are
breast-feeding a baby.
