Hazy vision is a visual disturbance resulting in being unable to see clearly and may be due to any number of causes.

Hazy vision, cloudy vision, blurred vision are all problems with seeing clearly. Any change in your normal vision is cause for concern and is a good reason to call a doctor for an examination. There are many different reasons why your vision can be cloudy or hazy – but the good news is most of them are treatable. The sooner you get treatment, the better your vision will be – so don’t delay!
Depending on the diagnosis or condition, the problem can be treated with corrective lenses, medication or surgery.
If you have a change in your vision, see your provider. If you are planning to have a baby, make sure you are current on your German measles (rubella) vaccine. If you have never had German measles, be vaccinated at least 3 months prior to getting pregnant. If you do contract German measles (rubella) while pregnant, be certain to have your baby’s eyes examined by an eye specialist after birth as recommended because being exposed to German measles can make a baby vulnerable to cataracts and other eye problems.
