Chest Press

Lie on your back, starting with your hands just above the sides of your chest and holding free weights or using a resistance machine (figure 4.20a). Push the weight straight up until your elbows are nearly fully extended (arms straight but not locked), as in figure 4.20b. Repeat 8 to 12 times per set. Complete 3 sets.
