Hip Flexor Stretch

Stand on your right foot while holding onto a stable support, such as a counter, with the right hand. Raise your left foot toward your buttocks, and grab your ankle with your left hand. Pull the foot toward your buttock, while pressing your hip forward (see figure 5.12). Repeat this stretch with the opposite leg.
