Screening tests check for diseases in people who don't have symptoms. There are no routine screening tests to detect thyroid cancer. If you are at increased risk for thyroid cancer, talk with your doctor to make sure you understand the signs and symptoms of this disease. You may be able to catch it in its early stages, which is when it's easiest to treat.
