Cylosporine is an immunosuppressant drug used to prevent rejection of kidney, liver, and heart transplants, to prevent graft-versus-host disease in patients receiving allogeneic bone marrow transplants, and for severe autoimmune diseases that are resistant to corticosteroids and other therapy.
